Dr. Norman “Rick” Smith is regarded in South Carolina as a highly skilled chiropractor, specializing in family chiropractic care for patients of all ages. He is a 1983 graduate of Sherman College of Chiropractic and a member of the South Carolina Chiropractic Association.Dr. Smith practiced in Columbia, SC for 9 years before moving to his current location in Batesburg-Leesville, SC., where he offers overall spinal care to his patients.He and his wife of 36 years, Sharon, have five sons and one daughter and also own and operate Smith Blueberry Farm, LLC, an annual producer of over 2000 gallons of pesticide-free blueberries. To Dr. Smith, farming is his hobby and Chiropractic is his passion!

As a young man, just beginning his career, Dr. Smith decided to design a practice that would make chiropractic care affordable for and available to the entire family.Just as his own children were kept healthy through chiropractic, Dr. Smith desired to offer an excellent, healthy alternative to medicine with exact chiropractic adjustments to children and families in his community. Over the last 35 years, Dr. Smith has made it his goal to remain educated in the latest techniques involving the correction of vertebral subluxation and has developed a practice and family fee system that makes regular chiropractic care an affordable option for maintaining optimal health.
